By accessing or using the website located at altoonainsulation.com, or by requesting or receiving services from Altoona Insulation, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this website or our services. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access the website or engage our services.
Altoona Insulation is an insulation contractor serving residential and commercial customers in central Pennsylvania. Our services include spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, crawl space insulation, basement insulation, air sealing, vapor barrier installation, insulation removal, and related work. All services are subject to a written estimate agreed upon by both parties before work begins. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion.
All estimates provided by Altoona Insulation are based on the information available at the time of the assessment. Estimates are not final until provided in writing and signed or acknowledged by both parties.
Prices are subject to change if conditions discovered during the work differ materially from what was assessed during the estimate - for example, if additional moisture damage, structural issues, or inaccessible areas are discovered once work begins. If the scope changes, we will notify you and obtain your approval before proceeding with work beyond the original estimate.
Free estimates are provided without obligation. An estimate does not constitute a contract or guarantee of availability.
Work is scheduled by mutual agreement. We will confirm the scheduled date and time with you in advance. We ask that you notify us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled job may result in a cancellation fee, which will be communicated to you at the time of scheduling.
We reserve the right to reschedule work due to weather conditions, equipment issues, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will notify you promptly if rescheduling is necessary and will work to find a replacement date at the earliest available time.
Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed to in writing before the job begins. Accepted payment methods will be communicated to you at the time of scheduling.
For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins. The deposit amount and conditions will be stated in the written estimate. Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel after materials have been ordered or work has begun.
Overdue balances may be subject to a late fee. If an account is referred to a collection agency or legal action is required to collect payment, you agree to pay all reasonable collection costs and attorney fees.
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area on the scheduled date. This includes clearing stored items from attics, crawl spaces, or basements as directed, and ensuring that the area is free of hazards.
You represent that you have the authority to authorize the requested work on the property. If you are not the property owner, you are responsible for obtaining the necessary authorization before work begins.
Altoona Insulation stands behind the quality of its work. Any specific warranty terms will be stated in the written estimate or project documentation. Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, our warranties cover defects in workmanship only and do not cover damage caused by pre-existing conditions, moisture intrusion, structural movement, or events outside our control.
The website and any information on it are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid to us for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
